We live in a society where everything is interconnected.
Interactions expand beyond human-to-human level, reaching at machines and spaces. Knowledge and facts are constantly recorded and retrieved as the speed and scope of network connections continue to grow.
Hyperconnected society can offer new opportunities through convenience and utility, while there are concerns about maladjustment to extremely rapid changes. Unintended connections also raise privacy and data protection issues. We intend to diagnose the future society through hyperconnected media research.

모든 것이 연결된 사회다. 사람과 사람을 넘어 기기와 공간까지 모든 것이 이어진다.
네트워크를 통한 연결의 속도와 범위가 가속화되면서 모든 지식과 현실은 기억되고 재현된다.
이러한 초연결시대의 정보통신기술은 편의와 효용을 제공하며 새로운 기회를 창출하는 동시에, 인간의 인지와 행동을 변화시킨다. 반면, 너무 빠른 변화에 대한 부적응, 과잉 연결 및 의도하지 않은 연결로 인한 프라이버시, 데이터 보호 등의 우려 역시 제기된다.
초연결 미디어 연구를 통해 미래 사회의 기회를 발견하고, 문제를 진단한다.
